About the project
Sighthill is the largest of eight Transformational Regeneration Areas (TRAs) in Glasgow with a developed masterplan of £250 million. Contract 1, which delivered the treatment of the area and created a platform for the new community campus school, was completed in November 2017.
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is now on site delivering Contract 2 and will deliver the platforms for new housing, new utilities and road infrastructure, the new Sighthill Park and the public realm.
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure and its contractors are currently undertaking earthworks to create the platforms for future development, creating three shafts as part of a replacement sewer and are preparing for tunnelling for the sewer using a Tunnel Boring Machine.
